Copperfield Plumbing is a family-owned residential plumbing company serving Solano County and the North Bay. Its website looked complete — but to search engines, it was nearly blank.
The challenge
The site had been built but never SEO-audited, and it had a quiet, serious flaw: it used an old metadata method that modern Next.js silently ignores. That meant the pages Google actually received had no canonical tags, no social cards, and missing metadata. The homepage had no proper heading, FAQs had no structured data, and there was almost no linking between services and the cities served.
